First Recorded Medeagre in British Waters.
The BRFC has accepted and ratified a claim made by Ryan Mayell in respect to the capture of a Meagre (Argyrosomus regius) weighing 6lb 9oz.Caught from the shore at Eastbourne on 21st july 2026.

Barbel record broken again
A new Barbel record caught by Nathan Buckingham has been accepted by the BRFC. Caught from the River Lea this magnificent fish tipped the scales at 22lb 10oz.

The BRFC has accepted a claim for the Pike record from captor Lloyd Watson, in respect of a fish claimed at a weight of 47lb 5oz, caught on 13th February 2024 from Chew Valley Lake.
